Marsh Creek Vineyard in Brentwood, California, is located on the rolling hills at the base of Mount Diablo, 25 miles east of San Francisco Bay and 6 miles south of the San Joaquin River Delta. The nearby bodies of water create a significant diurnal temperature swing, with warm days and cool, breezy nights ideal for grape growing. Within the Contra Costa County AVA, Marsh Creek provides a vital water source for the vineyard. The Trilogy at the Vineyards community is nestled among 37 acres of sustainably farmed vineyards, featuring six grape varieties, including a 2-acre block of clone 1 Mourvèdre, planted in 2006 on rootstock 140R, selected by the UC Davis School of Viticulture for optimal terroir balance.
