The wine exhibits classic Cabernet Sauvignon character with ripe plums and dark cherry fruit with crushed flowers, spice, pepper, mint and hints of cigar box. It’s a nicely balanced wine with great length.
Two Wolves Vineard is in the Los Olivos District bordering on the Happy canyon AVA and is certified Organic. The soils are clay with gravelly loam.
In 2022 the vineyard had moderate crop levels and the Cabernet Sauvignon was harvested on October 6 after a warm growing season.
After destemming the must was both pumped over and puched down each once a day and aged in 50% new French Oak barrels for 20 months.
