Rangeland wines have been a staple in our shop, embodying values of sustainability, organic practices, and even biodynamics. Family-owned and operated, they were guided by winemaker Alex Kemp, formerly of Denner Vineyards and now with Brecon Winery. Despite no agricultural background, Laird Foshay and his family spent 20 years mastering ranching, winemaking, and land stewardship through hands-on experience. Situated in the Adelaida District, their land benefits from maritime influences and is rich in calcareous limestone.
Rooted in care and sustainability, Rangeland’s approach included hand-picked grapes, sheep replacing tractors for mowing and fertilizing, and rotational cattle grazing to preserve soil health and wildlife.
